Rally Fest, Saturday 4th June 2011 |

The event, the latest in a succession
of promotional events, was held at The Royal Welsh Showground, Builth
Wells, in mid-Wales, and brought together WRC and British-based rally
crews for a day of action that will highlight the extended four-day
itinerary of Wales Rally GB, which will run from 10th - 13th
November 2011. A series of pictures of Steve Rockingham's famous 1978 ex-works TR7 V8 (the Simo Lapinen/Mike Broad car) SJW 548S. It is a pleasure to see that the car is still seriously run on UK as well as international events. Although some of the other former works cars are now running all sorts of trick bits, this one is still pretty much as it left Abingdon. Here we see Steve with co-driver Yvonne Mehta. |
